BBQ Chicken Wings
Ohhhhh hay friends.
Who doesn’t love a good lookin’ chicken wing? We’ve been rockin’ these bad boys since the beginning of summer. They rock so much they’re worth q’in in the rain for.
Speaking of which, I came home today with wet jeans. Walking to work has many benefits but pouring rain isn’t one of them. Another realization? My rain coat isn’t water proof after the first 20 ml. As a result I had weird wet spots all over me. Arm pits and elbows included. Get it together rain. Regardless, we continued to enjoy the rain into the evening when we (by we I mean Juddy, let’s be serious) fired up the grill.
These wings have a couple of different quick steps but all-in-all aren’t that tricky. As far as I’m concerned, you really can’t mess these up.
Chicken wings, as many as you want (I like getting the ones that aren’t separated. The bigger the better if you know what I mean)
Diana sauce (she is the girl of sauce eh?)
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp seasoning salt
Cracked pepper (to taste)
Heat a skillet and add chicken wings to hot pan. Add seasonings and sear on both sides of the chicken. Once seared, fill skillet with chicken broth enough that the chicken wings are almost covered (but not entirely). Simmer until chicken is done (roughly 10-15 minutes). Remove from skillet and place on BBQ. Grill on both sides until crispy (20ish minutes). Then add Diana and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
Shit, did you burn them a little? ALL THE BETTER.
